Greenwich Council to Move to New Offices in Greenwich Peninsula

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 1:15 pm

Recently, the Greenwich Council announced its decision to move to its new offices in the Greenwich peninsula. This move of the Greenwich Council is expected to bring in more business as well as investment to the area, especially the Peninsula.

According to Chris Roberts, the creation of the Peninsula is truly spectacular and has been initiated after a period of nearly ten years. The new offices of the Greenwich Council are Grade A property measuring 21,000 Sq ft and spanning over two floors of the Six Mitre passage building in the peninsula. The new shared offices are supposed to be only a single tube stop away from Canary wharf.

The representatives of the Council feel that the move of the council will encourage other commercial establishments to follow suit and rent desk space, thereby enhancing the economy of the region. This is because the Peninsula itself has been constructed on the lines of other such similar establishments in other cities that have previously hosted the Olympic Games.

It is imperative that the country takes full advantage of the situation and the expected boom due to the games. According to Roberts, the Olympic Games will speed up the economy in London as well as the neighbouring areas in much the same way as it did in the other host countries. However, in order to benefit from it, one has to make sufficient plans and take initiative to attract more businesses to the region.

This business interest exhibited in the Peninsula should not be left unheeded but should be converted into actual jobs and other investment opportunities, which will benefit the region.
