Exped tents are the ultimate answer to the needs of all outdoor enthusiasts – from occasional hikers to veteran mountaineers.
Setting up an Exped tent is quite easy. The fabric used in making these tents is strong, waterproof, and allows proper ventilation inside the tent. The fabric is UV resistant, which means protection from the sun during summers, and it is also fireproof to avoid accidents. Some Exped tents even have a fabric that has extra double silicone-coated nylon for tough resistance against hostile weather conditions.
Exped tents are quite spacious from the inside. The large vestibule yields ample storage space. The vestibule space can be increased by unhooking the canopies.
Most of the Exped tents can stand without any props. However, minimum additions are provided with some tents so that strong winds don’t blow them away.
Exped tents are specially designed to make them portable and maintaining and repairing them is also quite easy. A broken pole section can be replaced conveniently as the end caps of the poles come off easily. The pole tension pockets are made of high quality materials to facilitate easy repairing. Since all Exped tents come with some spare parts, repairing an Exped tent in the middle of a trek is also possible. However, Exped has tried to ensure that with heavy-duty patches, crossover stitching, and use of only high quality materials, you would never need to repair an Exped tent.
Exped also provides a 5 year warranty for any defects in manufacturing or materials used in their tents. For a nominal service charge, damages caused by natural wear and tear, mishaps, or natural calamity are also repaired by Exped.
