Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 11:28 pm

Today dedicated charity work is inarguably as critical as ever. In all likelihood you may have seen Mr. Naveen Jain’s name in connection with him being the co-founder and CEO of Intelius, Inc. the information commerce company. Well beyond making the Forbes list “400 Richest in America” 2000, this prosperous entrepreneur has collected a range of distinguished awards including the WSA Industry Achievement Award, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and the Albert Einstein Technology Medal, to list a few of them. But that is definitely not where it ends. Because Mr. Jain and his kin are equally as keen about their charity deeds and will endeavor to help people in need whenever they are able to. The youth of today are certainly humanity’s #1 hope or the future. They are moreover a central inspiration for this entrepreneur and he uses every occasion available to assist them. This of course, is the main reason why he is always assiduously using every possibility available to assist children in need if it is at all practicable. Consequently, Naveen Jain, his kin and the workers at Intelius dedicate their time to a great range of charities e.g. the University Preparatory Academy, Hopelink, and Child Rights and You (CRY). As is to be expected, they assign a great amount of pecuniary aid, but most importantly, they pledge their time and attention to the most needy and vulnerable children. Mr. Jain also donates to the Children’s Hospital in an attempt to restore children’s health too.

And as Jain is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology and XLRI Jamshedpur, it’s hardly astounding that schooling also constitutes a crucial hub in his philanthropic activities. This incorporates movements and charitable foundations that are local, state, and nationwide. Hence, Intelius and its co-founder are involved in helping fund charitable associations and foundations such as the Rotary Club, United Way and the University of Washington. Feeding the planet’s hungry represents an equally serious objective to Naveen Jain and his relations and to him, it makes not a iota of difference. Although he is conscious that the undertaking of finding provisions for all the planet’s unnourished is an eminently phenomenal one, he also knows that the impossible can factually turn out to be possible when everybody works in concert. If this CEO actually gets his way, the final curtain will certainly come down on starvation and poverty in the world at some time. You might believe that being the man in control of a very prosperous enterprise plus being a committed family man would leave him little spare time for benevolent engagements. But he makes certain that all of his charitable endeavors will enjoy as much support as he can plausibly donate. This philanthropic businessman is positively more than just a business pioneer. He is, beyond that, also an exceptional person and a true community activist.

I have been noticing a lot of great new blogs of late. I am still waiting to decide about all the twitter bustle. I still enjoy blogs and have a sizeable number in my feed reader.

The point with blogs is that you can find hidden treasures, and they are from people that actually like to can write.

Sure you can find some groovy souls on twitter. But, seriously, twitter is for people with attention defecit disorder or who dont like to write decent posts. Yes, masses of people twitter and also blog, and those people are cool by me, but I am always and always a blog fan.

Blogs squeeze the author to actually articluate their belief. Twitter however merely lets you to posit it. Call me old fashioned but I suppose there is a point where smaller is no longer fresher. We have been obsessed with miniturization for so long. Specially when it comes to technology. Certainly there has to be a place where we recognise substance counts. Value matters. What do you suppose?

Maybe the proper answer dwells in equilibrium. And compromise. You cannot squeeze individuals to have substance and not be superficial. But, too possibly you need to pressure the neo libral hippies to lighten up a fraction too?
