There are two options for filing bankruptcy as a consumer, chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy. Chapter 7 is often called liquidation as all of your property that is not exempt is sold in order to pay off your debts. Exempt property is that property that the government allows you to keep in order to continue living a normal life, like a auto, clothes, furniture, etc. States are allowed to set different bankruptcy exemptions, as well as Federal exemptions that can be used in some states.
In order to be able to file a ch 7 bankruptcy petition, have to be an individual, not a business or farm, you must take a credit counseling course from an approved agency inside the 180 days before filing for ch 7 bankruptcy relief, and qualify the means test which is filled out with your petition.
In a ch 7 petition, you will have to file schedules that list your debts, assets, earnings and living expenses. Copies of tax returns, pay stubs and credit counseling certificate will also have to be filed. Married bankruptcy filers must provide the spouses information even if they are not filing bankruptcy together so the court can determine the households ability to pay the debts.
When filling out your petition, you will have the option to continue paying and holding onto your property if you are able to, such as your domicile or auto, by making a reaffirmation agreement with the creditor. By reaffirming the debt you are recognizing that you intend to make payments. If the trustee grants your reaffirmation agreement, the creditor may be able to repossess the property if you do not pay.
When you file your ch 7 bankruptcy document you will have to give a filing fee of $299. This cost can be paid in installments, up to 4 no later than 120 days after filing. Once the petition is filed, the bankruptcy stay is in effect, creditors cannot call, collect or file lawsuits. Each of your creditors will be advised that you have filed bankruptcy and yielded a chance to respond. Within 20-40 days a 341 meeting will be called. During this meeting, the trustee and your creditors may ask questions about your petition. Within 10 days of the meeting the trustee will rule on whether the case should be presumed as abusive under the means test. If your case is presumed to be abusive you will be given a chance to refile under chapter 13.
Your assets that are not exempt are then liquidated and profits go to creditors. Once liquidation is completed, you are granted a discharge wiping out your debts.

The reason we call this a method and not a system is that there are no successful slot
machine systems that will make you a winner over the long haul. The casino sets the
payout percentages so that they are always in the casino’s favor and there is simply no
way to overcome that edge in the long term. Of course, in any individual session you can
hit the big jackpot and then you really don’t care about the odds.
However, you can certainly play a little smarter and perhaps increase your chances of
being lucky if you use a little common sense and discipline. If nothing else, you money
will last a bit longer and you’ll have more fun. Our method has only three rules:
1. Pick a non-progressive machine that does not have proportionally higher jackpots for
the maximum coins bet.
2. Play the minimum coins (usually one).
3. Play five times on a machine. If you win nothing, go to another machine and play
five times. Keep doing this until you find a machine where you win within the first
five times. Then keep playing that machine as long as you occasionally win
something.
Finally, relax, have fun and enjoy the casino’s free drinks. Playing the slots requires no
strategy or thinking, so it really doesn’t matter if you drink or not. Your odds of winning
are exactly the same. And who knows, you just might hit that elusive jackpot and walk
away with thousands of dollars of the casino’s money!
Good Luck!

My friend Adrian rings me on the telephone to inform me that he’s discovered some on-line gambling sites that I just have to look into. I have never really been serious into gambling, but I figured o.k., I have to give it a try. And So I tried out some poker and blackjack, only truthfully, they simply aren’t my cup of tea. Then I see these on-line elottery web sites and I figure that through the internet I can play lots of different lotteries around the Earth. Instantly to me this looks a heap more delight, hence I considered I may give it a go. In the beginning I tried my luck at euro millions, you know a European lottery. I chose my lotto numbers and awaited and dreamt that I may win the jackpot. I didn’t on that attempt but when the euro millions results came in; I was extremely surprised to see that I had actually come very near to the winning numbers. I tested out a couple of other lotteries, but I felt that I did come so near the first time on the euro lotto, that I just had to give it another shot. To date, I have not scooped a bucket load of dollars, but, I have scooped some money, so I carry on playing the euro millions and picking elottery numbers, hoping to get my big break. I am one of those individuals who like to believe in the likelihood of winning it big, because it is tough to imagine getting that sort of money some other way.
As for my friend, he still goes on with his love of internet gambling and finds himself at the on-line casino for at least an hour a day. He too has won some money, but it has high’s and low’s and the difference is, when you lose at gambling you normally lose a lot but then, when you lose at the lottery, it doesn’t cost you very much. I think that the lotto is the only way for me to go and the thought of hitting the jackpot and on top of that, it’s only costing me simply a couple of pounds “makes all the difference”.

Satellite Better Than Cable?

Is Satellite Really Better Than Cable?
As the war in video entertainment continues, one thing is for sure: satellite television is here to stay.
When the satellite distributors first began marketing to consumers, the cable industry didn’t give their new opponent much thought. Dishes were expensive, they were bulky and their program offerings weren’t all that impressive. Cable on the other hand had been around for more than a decade and offered a familiar and reliable solution to home entertainment.
But oh how things have changed.
The satellite industry quickly replaced those bulky dishes with sleeker, smaller systems that could be mounted just about anywhere. Prices dropped, programming grew and pretty soon, switching from cable to satellite wasn’t such a far-fetched idea after all.
Today, the satellite industry enjoys a steady and continued growth in subscribers and services, gradually closing the gap in video entertainment market share. Where the cable industry has reported an annual growth between 10 to 15 percent, top satellite companies boast a market share increase of just under 30% according to a study from The Media Audit.
So is satellite really better than cable?
Satellite customers seem to think so. Studies show that satellite customers pay an average of $10 less per month than their cable counterparts. Satellite programming is also all-digital, meaning the reception and picture quality is much better than that of traditional analog cable. Cable subscribers do have the option of upgrading to digital but this incurs an additional monthly cost and doesn’t guarantee all the channels will be included in the upgrade. And, with the healthy dose of competition in the satellite industry, consumers can be assured of continued competitive pricing. Your cable provider doesn’t have any competition. Do you suppose that affects your rate increases?
Satellite subscribers also tout a higher satisfaction rating with customer service issues, one of the primary reasons cited for making the move from cable.

The two most precious things in the world are love and freedom.
Without freedom life would be meaningless, and without love the world would become careless and apathetic.
Yet, the nature of these two are apparently at loggerheads with each other. Love wants to control. Freedom releases. Love wants to protect. Freedom is about taking risks. Love is almost totalitarian. Freedom gives us independence.
Still we long for both love and freedom. The desire to be loved is as deep rooted in us as the desire to be free from all shackles.
It seems that the love that we receive during our childhood lasts as long as we are young. As adults we continue to desire the love we received earlier. This could be the cause of our wanting to engage in similar relations with the opposite sex. There is of course physical attraction as well.
Both men and women want to be loved, in differenet proportions, in their own ways. Or at least to be considered as desirable by others.
Given a choice between the two, it would be difficult to make a decision. Both have their roots in our nature. An independent minded adult might prefer to be free than to be in love’s bondage.
If only love and freedom can be combined in compatible proportions, we can live much happier lives.

Most people would agree that the New Testament makes two astounding claims about Jesus. To some, the claims cancel each other out. To others, they appear utterly absurd. But, seemingly, to the vast majority of Christians down through the ages, it has seemed necessary to insist upon both affirmations.
Personally, I believe that Jesus Christ is both God and Man; human and divine. He shows us who God is and He shows us what we ought to be. In Biblical terminology, “in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily” (Col. 2:9, RSV), and yet he is one who “in every respect has been tempted as we are” (Heb. 4:15, RSV).
I think we encounter a lot of difficulty when we attempt to make one of these affirmations without the other. Many will acknowledge that Jesus was an “exceptionally good man” but reject the idea that He is divine.
Conversely, there are those who assert emphatically that because Jesus was divine, He was omniscient and omnipotent and therefore, did not experience the human condition in the same way as we do. They seem irritated if it is suggested that Jesus grew weary, hungered and became discouraged and lonely like all human beings, even though these facts are Biblically documented.
It seems to me that both camps miss the point of the New Testament. Take the opening verses of the fourth Gospel, for example. The author has been talking about the “Word” of God, which in the Old Testament was a way of describing the power and creativity of God: “By the word of the Lord the heavens were made.” (Ps. 33:6). God’s “Word” is His creative energy; the means by which He enters into relationship with man and reveals to us who He is. The Gospel of John states: “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (1:14). To me “became flesh” means simply that Christ became a human being like us. It is here that we see the showing forth of God’s creative power, in a flesh and blood human life. God is not just pretending to be human. He has become one of us, in a man who was called Jesus Bar-Joseph, son of a Nazareth carpenter. When Jesus got hungry, it was real hunger and in the same sense as we know hunger. It was not merely something similar. When nails were driven into His body, it caused Jesus to suffer excruciating pain, and real blood flowed from His wounds.
The astonishing and magnificent claim which the New Testament dares to assert is that in the life and the teaching, the death and the resurrection, of this man Jesus, God Himself was present in a unique way, so that if we want to see clearly who God is and what He has done, we must look at this same Jesus called the Christ.
Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, `Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. (Jn 14:9-10).

One. Network offline. Visit professional like-minded groups. These groups usually meet once a month, have speakers, and networking time for you to mix with other professionals. You will get valuable information at these meetings for low cost yearly memberships run around $25-$50 giving you free meeting attendance. Each meeting is around two hours including networking time and speaker. Usually at each meeting you are given a 30-second time to introduce yourself.
Two. Speak to groups about your expertise. You may be a guest speaker for a large association or group, or you may form your own seminars and workshops, where people come to hear your expertise. During each meeting, pass the clipboard that asks your audience for their email addresses. In return, you will send them pertinent information. Be sure to put your Web URL in plain sight. You want these people to visit your Web site, first to see your expertise, then perhaps to buy products.
Three. Promote your eMag on your web site. Visit many sites and take from them what will make your pages zing.
I notice a pablum approach upon visiting many sites. One sign on the “Home” page simply said, “Subscribe to my free ezine.” Is that enough to make you buy?
Instead, use the passion approach. For my new web site, I submitted this blurb to my Webmaster: Finish, publish, and sell your book fast! Receive free articles, tips and resources in the FREE monthly eMag “The Book Coach Says.”
Nearby in a box, I shared the benefits of subscribing what the reader will get. I shared how my service/products are unique remember the “Fast” tag in my services and books? Write your eBook or Other Book Fast! Follow your lines with “click here.” Your visitors need explicit directions.
Another “passion” approach includes a testimonial about your ezine from a top person in your subject area. Mine, “totally worth your time,” is from Dan Poynter of www.parapublishing.com.
Placement is also important. For the best response and more subscribers, place your subscribe box on the top half of your homepage. Remember the old adage; “Make it easy for your customer to buy.”
Four. Promote your eMag through your signature. Create a promotional signature in three to six lines, and add it to the end of each email you send out. Here, you would list your book title, benefits of your service, your FREE eMag title, followed by your email or web site address.
Five. Promote your eMag in newsgroups, discussion lists and forums. Target those related to your business or book category. For instance, Sandra Schrift of Speakers University aims her newsletter primarily at emerging and professional speakers. Her secondary audience is coaches. Anne Wayman, San Diego Web designer and editor, and author of Powerfully Recovered, belongs to several related newsgroups.
Six. Offer your subscribers a free GIFT SUBSCRIPTION to send to their friends. You can use another autoresponder to send the gift, plus whom it’s from, and a little blurb about what they will be receiving. Always include a way for subscribers to unsubscribe.
Seven. Send out press releases via email about your eMag. Press releases by email are different from print ones. They must be short! They must be newsworthy! We at Skills Unlimited Publishing send out over 150 different print releases a year, and are just beginning the great adventure online. You may not be able to include a story, but you can use a short analogy, and put your benefit in the headline. Always be sure to make your message clear.

Machiavelli Hangman has accumulated a mass following on the internet without releasing any sort of information to the public. Leaving marketing experts stunned at the phenomenon, some do explain the Machiavellimania as a movement more than a hype. The public doesn’t seem as interested in the film as it is in the idea of independent digital filmmaking breaking the barriers and achieving the standards of 35mm films without the 35mm budgets. Machiavelli Hangman is a true underdog story and that is the reason why it’s catching so many people’s attention.
It speaks to the start-up filmmaker who doesn’t have any money and wants to get a shot at directing a successful film. It speaks to anybody in society who doesn’t have enough the financial back but has the drive to make something great by using his resources at hand.
Of course, Machiavelli Hangman also has the whole FBI trying to shut it down rumors. Although it may just be that, rumors, the government rebellion idea has appealed to the younger generations for a long time. The fact that the story revolves around the JFK assassination also appeals to the older crowds.
Whereas with Napoleon Dynamite which seemed to only target high school kids, Machiavelli Hangman has found a way to bring those two groups together without any feelings of guilt or awkwardness. The same way ET bridged that gap, Machiavelli Hangman has found that secret recipe to be a sure-fire hit across the board.
The project did not come about without a good share of obstacles. The film was going to be shut down – not by government officials – but the filmmakers themselves because the actor who was originally cast to play John F. Kennedy was paid a large amount not to do the film. The name of the person offering the money or perhaps the institution was not revealed, but eventually the producers found another actor who would act as the President and production continued.
The marketing of Machiavelli Hangman has been aggressive, and while message boards are filled to the rim with latest news on the cast and crew, posters and t-shirts have already started circulating through the nation.
Just like Open Water and the Blair Witch Project took over the American film markets, Machiavelli Hangman is expanding its grip on the public. Some posters read “Soon the truth will be revealed” and others exclaim that “Dying isn’t what it used to be.”
Just like those fans who camped out for weeks to be the first to see Revenge of The Sith, the fans of Machiavelli Hangman (http://www.hangmanmovie.com) are forming discussion groups, MH clubs and planning rallies in favor of secret governmental information to the public.

Graduation Tassel
A graduation tassel is an accessory that is added to the graduation cap that is worn by graduates on their graduation ceremony. The tassels initially were black in color or in the color of the discipline which the student was undertaking in the academic institutions such as universities. Currently however, the tassels can be found in different colors as the graduate desires. In some educational institutions, the tassels are moved from one side of the graduation cap to the other by the students once they have graduated. The students may do this in unison or as individuals. The graduation tassel
therefore, make great gift items that will be kept as souvenirs after the graduation ceremony.
In the past, the students were required to put on only one tassel at a time. This has since changed since students can now wear a number of tassels. In addition, the color of the graduation tassel is not limited to black. Therefore one can find a number of colors as well as color combination for their tassels. One can find solid or entwined double and triple color combinations. There are different sizes of graduation tassels in order to provide for persons of all ages and sizes since graduation ceremonies are held right from elementary school.
