Growing from a tropical country, winter is one of the seasons that people dream of. The large contribution and influence for this is when you see others get a chance to have a white Christmas. Next to autumn, the vastness of the snow makes the place serene and pure. Some people are not fond of cold like Bella Swan of the Twilight movie but soon realized that it is not so bad after all. You have to experience scorching sun in countries near equator for others to realize how blessed they were to have all four seasons.
For those who just can’t seem to get the ‘I hate the cold’ syndrome, they would rather stay at home and sulk. But for others who just can’t seem to run out of creative ways to enjoy the cold weather, they run out for a snowball fight, or other sorts of winter sports like toboggan sledging, skiing, snowboarding, ice skating or for those who are not a fan of the extremes, they could simply stay in their front yard building snowmen. The more mischievous kids would have a game of snowball throwing at the bus or at stray cats.
Others may find real difficulty when they wake up freezing and have to shovel their driveway before they can have their car out to the street. One sweet thing about the cold season is, you can enjoy a really hot cup of cocoa while sitting comfy, knitting or reading a book in your favorite loveseat in front of your fireplace. Simple pleasures in life give others reasons to enjoy and appreciate the spell of winter.
